Our first complaint

We got our first complaint today! We must be doing something right. If people are angry, at least they are paying attention. We now have Comic Revolution t-shirts available for $10. E-mail us if you are interested. I think the show is doing ok, and we are finally figuring out how to make a radio show work. Thanks to all who attended the Matt Maupin benefit, we raised $900 for the family! And don't forget we have the Rock the Vote event coming up on August the 28th at Southgate House once again. We have Eddie and the Fuckmunky's from Louisville opening the show, then Comic Revolution followed by Ray's Music Exchange, it should be a great show. Rock the Vote will be there registering voters at the show as well. Comic Revolution is also doing another fundraiser for democratic congressional candidate Greg Harris August 4th at the Mad Frog from 7-10 pm. Come out and help us challenge comb-over king Steve Chabot! Thanks for listening, and don't forget the Penguin Show every Wednesday after the radio in Newport, 12:30 pm. Remember, if you're offended you can always turn the channel, but we will never shut up. Peace.

9,000 Dollar Student Loan Pyramid

Yes....

I encourage all to listen to this show so I will no longer feel bad about blowing 9,000 bucks for a radio degree I wasn't using.

Actually, just keep your radio tuned to WAIF all the time. Its the only true independent radio stadio in the tri-state now. Yes, some of the shows are a little dry and not very interesting, so just use that time to read a book, may I suggest "A Prayer For Dawn" by Nathan Singer. It just came out and you can find it in most bookstores or order it online.

Don't fall into the trap of Clear Channel radio stations. If you tired of the top 40 shit being shoved down your throat on an hourly basis and unfunny radio DJ's telling the same fart and stripper jokes...WAIF is the alternative.

Feel free to call in our show 749-1444 or email me, Tim, and Darin at comicrevolutionradio@yahoo.com PLUS...I am sure Darin is always looking for a guest penguin.

Update and Matt Maupin benefit show

Well, the show seems to be doing ok with the radio station at least. They seem interested in making room for us, so we may have a future in radio yet! At least we will be on past the summer, I wasn't sure when we started how it would go. Anyway, please come out to the Matt Maupin benefit on Friday July 16th at the Southgate House in Newport and help us provide assistance to the family of our local POW. After that, we will be at the Funny Bone in Newport on the Levee on July 20th, come and check us out. We are having Comic Revolution T-shirts made now, and we should have them soon. Hopefully they will be available for the Funny Bone show. Thanks to all who have listened, I hope you continue to do so. Don't forget the Penguin Show every Wednesday at 12:30 after the radio show, and come show your support for the Maupin family.
